Half-way mark!

This is an overdue post but I just wanted to share with you Ani's growth into his 6 months.

- He can now sit up for a period of time without falling over. He can also, twist his body to reach for things while in the sitting position.
- He is now eating baby food 3 times a day and is sometimes eating softened rice with me. He loves watching his mommy and daddy eat. He'll even salivate sometimes.
- He is starting to recognize faces and is starting to develop separation anxiety from his mommy.
- He is very ticklish, especially in the neck and tummy area.
- He will sometimes have these laughing spells where he will laugh at the weirdest objects and sounds. He will laugh non-stop!
- He knows how each toy I give him works. The ones that rattles, he will hold it in one hand and wave it around in the air in order to make it rattle with noise. What a genius baby!
- He hates getting dressed.
- He loves bath time. He loves playing with his bath toys and especially loves splashing the water with his hands and feet.
- He can say "Maaa-Ma" now and I know he's calling for me! ;D

A Very Special Christmas

Hey everybody! Sorry it's been awhile but I've been extremely busy during this holiday season. It seems with a late Thanksgiving, Christmas is just right around the corner this year. I've been busy shopping and wrapping presents as well as cleaning and organizing my house in time for my family's Christmas gathering this weekend. I'm just happy my husband was able to take tomorrow off so we could do some last minute preparations. Can't wait to hear excited tiny voices and see happy faces for Christmas. This year especially, has been really meaningful to me because of the new guy in my life, Anakin. He has made my life more sunny and cheery! I feel so blessed to be his Mommy. There is nothing greater in the world than to be needed every day. I tell you, it's so great for a Mother's heart. 

My husband too is very excited as well that he even purchased a camcorder to record this special occasion! It's our present and we couldn't be happier to keep these precious moments forever.

I know I'll be occupied with holiday events the next couple of days so I just wanted to swing by my blog here and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Naughty or Nice?

Did you take advantage of the awesome deals this Black Friday? I certainly did at Gap! Everything 50% off? Not complaining one bit! And I didn't really mind the 8pm shop time either. Way better than waiting until midnight to run around like zombies. Plus, the store associates were nicer. I'd have to say, I had the best BF shopping experience this year than ever before. My 2 favorite shops that I scored awesome deals at were Ann Taylor and Gap. I even got this cute outfit for Anakin so he could wear for his photo-op with Santa.
