My son loves white noise! He will get mad and cry his eyes out when there is a sudden noise in the middle of silence. I get him though because I'm also paranoid like that. I will hear the slightest creeks in the middle of the night and wake my husband up because I think it's a robber or zombies (haha). It's just my great imagination playing with my mind but, I do hate surprise sounds. That's why I'm thankful for white noise machines like Cloud B's Sleep Sheep. The one I have is the Sleep Sheep on the Go so I can attach the velcro straps to his carseat for roadtrips. He hates his carseat and car rides so this thing was a life saver for when we had to make our first long roadtrip back to our hometown. He falls asleep within minutes when we turn on the machine. I like that it's compact so I can stick it in the diaper bag and go. I recommend this for parents who has a fussy baby like me. I bought mine at my local Target for around $21 dollars. You can buy it online or search your local Target if they have any in stock. Cloud B also carries other kinds of white noise machines like this adorable bunny that I'm probably going to get him for Christmas.

A Day Out with Baby
This past weekend, my family came into town so we decided to take baby out to the zoo and the amusement park with them. We were kind of worried about taking him out since it was pretty humid but windy and the timeframe was going to be all day. But my Mom assured us he was old enough and that everything would be okay. So, we happily listened to her and took him out. He slept through most of it and he only got cranky towards the end of the day during his usual time to fall asleep. Nursing in public is still something I have to get used to and I must remember to start packing an extra shirt in the diaper bag for those times when I accidentally leak through my nursing pads. Overall, we had a great time with my family and baby seem to enjoy the outdoors and the crazy, loud noise. For some reason, he can sleep through all the loud chit chatter but when it's just us three at home and I pop open my water bottle, it startles him and he starts crying. This baby is going to be a social butterfly!

I look like a newbie mom - no makeup, no time to do hair, nails are ugly, clothes don't match. LOL |
